Your physical therapist may elect to use electrotherapy modalities such as Interferential (IFC), Ultrasound, Laser, TENS, Hot and Cold pack, etc.. He may also use other interventions such as manual therapy which is one-on-one hands-on treatments such as soft tissue mobilization, massage, joint and spinal mobilization, myofascial release etc.

Therapeutic Exercise

Therapeutic exercise is an integral part of physiotherapy intervention.  Exercises are aimed at improving range of motion, strength, flexibility, balance and endurance.  At Stargate we often use a combination of these interventions for maximum benefit of our patients.
